The Disability Awareness Course helps Taxi and Private Hire Drivers meet their legal and professional responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010.
This 3-hour live virtual course, delivered via Zoom, develops your understanding of how to assist passengers with visible and hidden disabilities confidently, respectfully and safely.
All delegates are required to show photographic ID at registration, such as Driving Licenses or Taxi Badge (if applicable).
The course is CPD Certified, and successful participants receive an eCertificate recognised by licensing authorities across the UK.
eCertificates for virtual courses are emailed 2–3 working days after successful course completion.
You must provide at least 7 days’ notice to cancel or change your booking.
You will need to rebook and pay again if you do not attend or do not cancel with 7 or more days notice.

Failure to attend your course, or to provide sufficient notice, will result in your fee being forfeited.
If you book your course within 7 days of the course date, this is considered a short notice booking.
Short notice course bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
