Driving Essentials: Signs, Speed and Safety is a flexible online driver training course designed to refresh essential road knowledge and improve driver awareness.
This eLearning package combines three core topics into one engaging course, helping drivers strengthen their understanding of road signs and markings, speed limits, and driver distraction. It is ideal for businesses, fleet operators, and individual drivers who want a practical, accessible way to support safer road use and reinforce everyday driving standards.

This course is designed to help drivers:
The course takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to complete. Learners do not need to complete it in one sitting — each topic can be completed separately and returned to later.
Access is provided through a single user login. Learners receive a welcome email to begin access, with step-by-step instructions included to support the login and course process.
Learners complete three topics within the full package:
Road Signs and Markings
Refresh understanding of common road signs, markings, and their role in safer driving decisions.
Speed Limits and How They Are Signed
Improve awareness of national and local speed limits, how they are displayed, and why speed compliance matters.
Distractions
Understand the risks of distraction behind the wheel, including how reduced concentration can affect driver safety and reaction times.
At the end of each topic, learners complete a 10-question knowledge check to consolidate learning. A pass mark of 70% is required, with a maximum of three attempts per topic. If a learner fails a topic after three attempts, the course must be purchased again.
All three topics must be completed and passed in order to receive your certificate.
Upon successful completion of all three topics and their knowledge checks, learners can download their certificate directly.
Certificates are available immediately on completion and confirm that the learner has successfully completed the Driving Essentials: Signs, Speed and Safety eLearning course.
There is no need to wait — once all topics are passed, your certificate is ready to download straight away.
You cannot cancel once you have started the training.
