Taxi Safeguarding (Virtual)

The Virtual Safeguarding Course helps Taxi and Private Hire Drivers recognise, prevent and report safeguarding issues such as abuse, exploitation and neglect.

This course ensures that every licensed driver understands their legal and moral duty to protect passengers, especially vulnerable adults and children.

It is required or recommended by many licensing authorities across the UK.

Delivered as an interactive live Zoom session, this training encourages open discussion, scenario-based learning and real-world understanding.

The course is CPD Certified, and successful participants receive an eCertificate recognised by licensing authorities across the UK.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Understand what is meant by the term Safeguarding
• Identify adults at risk and other vulnerable individuals
• Understand Child Sexual and Criminal Exploitation, Human Trafficking, Modern Slavery, and Domestic Abuse
• Recognise the types of abuse and their associated signs and indicators
• Identify suspicious behaviours or activities
• Know how and whom to report concerns to
• Understand your responsibilities as a licensed driver and follow best practice protocols
